 he fifth session of the Conference of the States parties to the Conventi
 on will take place in New York from 12 to 14 September 2012. The election 
 of nine members of the Committee will take place during this meeting.\n\n.
 ..\n\nMembers are elected for a term of four years by the Conference of St
 ates Parties. Committee Members serve in their personal capacity and may b
 e re-elected once if nominated.\n\nNominations are due by 2 July 2012.
