UNITAR offers an annual workshop on elections to the United Nations organs to facilitate the work of election officers in permanent missions.

The one-day workshop will cover multiple topics, including an overview of the composition of UN organs, rules and procedures of elections, methods for effective campaigning, the endorsement of candidates and the role of regional groups in the election process.

The workshop is open to election officers and other members of permanent missions to the United Nations in New York who are involved or interested in elections to United Nations organs, and other representatives of international, intergovernmental, and non-governmental organizations.
