The Economic and Social Council will meet on Monday, 6 May 2013 to fill outstanding vacancies in the Committee for Programme and Coordination. Nominations for two elected positions on the Committee – one from African states and one from Asia-Pacific states — also remain unfilled.
During the same meeting, the President of the Council, Mr. Néstor Osorio, will also appoint eight members of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
